  3. Note: A very small section of LR maybe closed due to the rain today. Check back for an update!
  4. Starbucks should be open for those that arrive early!

Space is limited! If you are planning on riding, we would love to have you email us. Let us now what loop, how many riders and what ability level you consider yourself. Everyone who completes the ride will get a free sticker!  Check out the Tee shirts too!

The ride is a mix of Open Space trails and paved roads. While you could certainly do this on a cross bike; we hope that all ride MTBs. The fatties are what will make this a challenge.

This is an informal, long distance MTB loop. It is NOT a race, so no checkpoints, no support, no prizes! But heck, no entry fees either. All we are providing, is basic trail information, a meeting place, the opportunity to group and ride with like minded riders and maybe a bit of trail-side water. The rest is up to you. Read more>

We are riding this ride for our own enjoyment with a few close friends -- ride along, but understand we are not responsible your your safety or the safety of others. Please be aware that all trails are RADAR enforced with a 15mph speed limit.

We hope to bring awareness to just how lucky we are to have access to the trails in the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.

Most of the District’s 220 miles of designated trails are unpaved “wildland” trails in steep, rugged terrain. Approximately 65% of these trails are “multiple use” trails and are open to bicyclists, which is the highest ratio of trails open to bikes among parks and open space in the Bay Area. Many of these trails are also single-track trails, providing bicyclists with a more technical experience. (photo Chris Rois)

If you are like us and enjoy access to the trails please feel free to donate to The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.
